The five men showed up at the Hooters parking lot in Ontario. But they weren?t there to eat chicken wings served by scantily clad waitresses. Authorities said the men were associates of the Sinaloa drug cartel who were there try to sell 53 pounds of methamphetamine wrapped in 42 clear plastic bags. The men, who were arrested Thursday by the Department of Justice?s Bureau of Investigation?s Inland Crackdown Allied Task Force, are accused of trying to sell meth to undercover officers, authorities said. The five were arrested outside of Hooters on suspicion of transporting methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine for sales and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, KABC-TV reported.

Why on earth would anyone have that much product at one time at all in transport, ever?

Makes you a HUGE target for EVERYONE

Law enforcement, other people, some other people, anyone else who finds out that you've got many many millions of dollars in product in your possession

Who would know you are having it and target you? Besides conspiracies and double crossing from other gang members etc.

Well someone or some people where ever you got it or made it probably know and I doubt they're the type to say "no I would be too loyal to get that guy killed over a few million dollars"

Not that I know, but, it seems pretty simple to me that it'd be VERY difficult just driving around anonymously with THAT

Meanwhile, who ever you might be trying to sell it to, they have HUGE incentive to spend $.39 at the meeting .... you know?
So then you have to have protection
So then they know
Now they have incentive

The dope game never made much sense to me from a risk / reward standpoint
Except for that select few unicorn person who dealt awhile put some street money together and invested in something legitimate
But most of these guys are hooked on fast cash at all times not to mention their own product many times

PS: I think many of these fools enjoy the excitement and adrenaline of the whole thing
