poncabare 05-23-2016 12:08 PM

never happening

Spunky 05-23-2016 12:20 PM

Hell,I'd let him beat the shit out of me for half that

Sednub997 05-23-2016 12:20 PM

Why not it will be great show and excitement just before the New years Eve.so who wouldnt want to see this fight?

MartinCamsPower 05-24-2016 01:13 AM

don't think it will happen. Dana White would not let this through..

LetterTwenty7 05-24-2016 01:21 AM

NY Eve... Do you want to fight or drink champagne? Hmmm you can buy lots of those for 50M

pimpmaster9000 05-24-2016 03:27 AM

they do not even train the same sport...floyd will destroy him if they box...bullshit match IMO

Pipecrew 05-24-2016 09:24 AM

Floyd would methodically destroy him, Connor wouldn't land a single punch.

(i really cant even stand floyd either)

Scott McD 05-24-2016 09:29 AM

Quite simply won't happen...

Jman 05-24-2016 10:10 AM

World of boxing had gone to the shitters big time. Any fool who believes this would be a legit fight deserve a backhand bitch slap.

galleryseek 05-24-2016 10:38 AM

Fucking stupid this is.. Anyone who buys this PPV is a shithead. As much as a I hate Mayweather, he'd destroy Conor.

Hmm, a seasoned, unbeaten fighter with 49 pro fights, against an MMA guy. I wonder who will win.. Fucking christ.

romeo22 05-24-2016 11:02 AM

If we say there will be MMA fighting rules it wount be Floyd the winner so in opposite if are the boxing rules Conor wont have any chances at all

2 posters above somehow assumed it would be boxing rules... while even the boss of ufc did not know that.

Sednub997 05-24-2016 03:16 PM

I vote yes ..so it will be great entertaining show if this get sorted.

kane 05-24-2016 03:33 PM

The UFC will never let this happen. If it somehow did, as others have mentioned, Mayweather would destroy him. I hate Mayweather, but there is no denying his ability in the ring. Connor got out boxed by Diaz. What makes him think he could stand in there with Floyd?

VladS 05-24-2016 03:57 PM

Getting some big press, might just happen. I'd like for someone to put Floyd down, but i don't think that's gonna happen.

Mutt 05-24-2016 10:39 PM

McGregor would be insane not to take that offer - he'd have zero chance of winning but Floyd's never been a knockout artist so at worst McGregor gets embarassed and knocked out, won't kill him.

adultchatpay 05-24-2016 10:40 PM

Another stunt move from Floydie.

2 more assuming it would automatically mean boxing rules. While even UFC boss wondered "would it be boxing or mma rules".
Already 4 gfyers know more than him :)

I can't imagine any situation where Floyd Mayweather would agree to MMA rules. He is cocky, but he has to know he would not fare well in an MMA fight. What would he have to gain from this fight? He can make $30-$40 million to box some no-name guy that he can thrash. If he wants a big payday he can fight Pacquiao again, a guy he has a good chance at beating and could likely make another $200 million fighting.

Fight McGregor in an MMA fight would likely draw a lot of viewers and he could get paid, but he would likely also tarnish his record and lose.

Not to mention. Dana White has said that McGregor is under contract with the UFC. They likely aren't going to let him fight unless it benefits them. It would benefit them to have him fight Mayweather in an MMA fight. It would not benefit them to watch him get his ass handed to him in a boxing match.

i wonder if this has anyting to do with the Ali - Inoki fight

yes I know more than him based on the fact that they are 2 completely different sports...its like racing a formula1 car against a rally car there is no "middle ground" where the 2 can meet and have a normal race...its one completely destroys the other, just a matter of what track they will use f1 or rally...

Biddx 05-25-2016 07:16 AM

Shouldn't be allowed to happen.

I do quite a bit of boxing and as people have rightly pointed out conor would not stand a chance against floyd's boxing skill set.

Just the same if it was mma rules. Floyd would be tapping out pretty quickly.

I did see a clip of conor sparring with a boxing guy & he took way too many shots, in an actual fight he would have to change his style completely to stand any chance of not getting over powered.

Even if he spent 2 years working completely on boxing techniques, cannot compare to the lifetime floyd as spent learning his trade.

Perhaps he set it up ?:2 cents:

ilnjscb 05-25-2016 09:05 AM

yeah I would still watch it

TB Paul 05-25-2016 09:57 AM

well that would be fun to watch nonetheless if ever happening

Sednub997 05-25-2016 03:44 PM

in some point of view its still business and they will earn lot of monies and Floyd will get in the ring once again

Hannes 06-11-2016 08:15 PM

if they are strictly boxing, then may weather has the upper hand because he is most experienced in that field. however conor is much more versatile. He can't use that versatility because he's only allowed hands so this will be interesting.
