Tweets vs retweets?

If I just want to put up a sentence with image and my website URL.

Which is better and why?

Try both and see which one produces better results. You will find that just testing yourself will always answer your questions better than relying on the expert advice from GFY

not sure I understand the question. Tweeting is what you do from your account, retweeting is what others do with your tweets on their accounts or you retweet other peoples tweets on your account.

Are you asking, is it best to tweet about your product & url, then when it's retweeted, which is the best for sales & traffic?

To answer, both tweets & retweets are seen the same, except depending on how many followers you have.

Do you mean retweet coming from other accounts? Can you be more specific.

If say someone has an account of X followers and they tweet something versus just retweeting something they have seen somewhere else?

Well the best way to get the best results is to go ahead and put the pic up with the URL and "tweet" it. For best results you can tag other accounts by adding their Twitter name to the tweet as well and if they retweet your tweet, you will get better exposure.

exactly this :thumbsup

We, allamateur & I have retweeted our tweets for many years. He tweets mine & I tweet his, along with many other twitter accounts.

This gives a wider show of your tweet to a much larger audience while you also can retweet others to give your twitter account many new tweets for your followers :thumbsup

A retweet for a retweet is a fantastic way to grow your follower base.

Some people follow someone's tweets, but turn on the option to not see their retweets to cut down on the clutter.
