When do you get the most sign-ups day or night ?

Never...

During evening and nights, US Eastern Time. Rarely do I get signups during European morning or after midnight US Pacific Time.

I got one once in March

I am in eastern time. Use to wake up with $1000 in sales and then it would taper off for the rest of the day.

At day for sure. Around 9am time of New York.
Then close to 3pm and finally, 11pm.

We only track in server time.

Generally, during the week the majority are in the client's mid-evening hours.

I would just like to know...who is this person signing up for porn sites? Someone who hasn't discovered Google yet? I'd just like to know because it's one of the baffling mysteries of the universe.

It really depends on your own time zone and the time zone(s) of the countries your best converting traffic comes from.

Removing the time zone aspect, I've found a lot of people buy memberships between 4 PM and 11 PM wherever they are located. So it looks like after work and before bed are the best times to get people to part with their money.

Weekends are a bit more flexible....I guess some people like to wake up and treat themselves to something special. :winkwink:

I believe in paying for digital media I consume...I buy music, movies and games but porn is different because it's packaged in neat little clips on tube sites. I'm sorry, but that's the mentality that's been created by the new paradigm.

Well, music and movies are chopped up into nice little songs and scenes on torrent sites and elsewhere too so your argument is one giant FAIL.

The reason you watch free porn is because you do not see porn as having any monetary value whereas you see movies, tv, music etc has having value. So you feel bad if you 'steal' (watch/listen) something of value. But porn? Pffft!
