Despite the rapid advance of Army and Marine forces across Iraq over the past week, some senior U.S. military officers are now convinced that the war is likely to last months and will require considerably more combat power than is now on hand there and in Kuwait, senior defense officials said today.

And this is surprising why? Anyone who expected this war to only last days or weeks is sadly misinformed about the realities of war. Hell, there's still shit going on in Afganistan, it's just not getting the same coverage it did, so people tend to forget it's still happening. I remember, I have a friend who's there doing her duty.

I tend to disagree. The only bad thing now is Sadaams henchman will sink to new lows as the end draws near. Theres talk they might gas their own people and try and blame it on us.

The 4th infantry, our most high tech force of 30,000 troops are arriving soon.
