CNN-Turk says: Today US troops decide to attack a town in the north of iraq.. You know kurds promised theyll help US. in north iraq... kurds escaped when they start to loose a few guys.. operation cancelled... :1orglaugh

Seems we've secured some Northern Iraqi air base. Doesn't say anything about invading any small towns.

Why would the Kurds run? They hold stock in this invasion. I would think they'd be willing to fight until the end... remember, not even 15 years ago their families and friends were slaughtered by Saddam. I'd be ready to kill...
