Understandable.

Connie Chung lost big in th ratings war with FoxNews. O'Reilly has three times the daily viewers. Frankly, I hate CNN when they got all the talking heads from regular networks. I escaped to cable to avoid the likes of Connie Chung, Paula Kahn, etc. in the first place. I hope is that CNN also dump Larry King and Paula Kahn.

After the Oklahoma City bombing Connie Chung was interviewing the Oklahoma City Fire Chief and asked him if he would be relieved when reliable help arrived from other states. That was a slap in the face to the local help that was looking for survivors. The Fire Chief didn't even respond. He just looked at her cooly and walked off.
The governor told her later that she could apologize or be escorted out of the state. CBS officials made her apologize on the air.

It's no longer journalism when it's gossip based, light hearted humour... it's just stupid entertainment. News should be serious, and it should be about stuff that actually affects more than one person.

I'll admit I did watch every now and then but she was annoying and something just didn't sit right... it was like she was trying to hard to be sensative

If that's true she should have been fired.

This is understandable... Now, cancelling Donahue? That was an outrage. But Connie Chung never should have been put in that position in the first place.

I emailed her agent if she would have an interest in doing an adult site, bet lots of men would signup and it would def. be on the news

She sucked, it's about time she got off the air.

If you could convince her to have the implant operation filmed you'd make zillions.
