Herman Brood recently died and was a famous Dutch
Rockstar / Artists. He comitted suicide by jumping off the
Hilton Hotel in Amsterdam.

I dont own this one, but one similar. Also have a portrait of my girlfriend by the same artist. Very cool artist.

And guess what.. it's an original "Brood" painting as well. It's behind glass with a silver border. I bought it two years before he killed himself.

Ironically enough, the woman of the art-studio who sold it to me, joked about hoping he would die because then the value would increase. :) I have no interest in making money with it, because I love it very much.

Sorry about the crummy photo. The glass window caused the flash to reflect, and the painting isn't hanging oblique, I didn't hold the cam straight.

a great piece which I´m quite attached to. I have some smaller
paintings by Brood and a few poems.
