Programmers - I need quotes

Ok, check this out, this all basically falls under databasing and security; I need:

A secure download area

A samples page with protection (however possible)

A member's only area for the d/l's

A shopping cart system that uses Verisign, Paypal and CCBill

ABSOLUTE security

Please post quotes, I cannot say any more about this.

This is almost a good suggestion for any canned script -- if you can, always go through and change log file names, admin cgi names.... basically any and every file if you can.

This way if the script becomes popular or worse, a vulnerability in the script becomes known, then it will be harder for people to realize what your running and/or find your weak files.

Of course if you really know what your doing you could just setup mod_rewrite to handle people requesting files they shouldn't be.

I don't hard code any file names/options/paths/script names into any of my scripts for that reason. Everything down to the HTML files the script uses to display the control panel are completely customizable in any of my programs.

Programmers should keep that kind of thing in mind. If your script forces the user to do something in a certain way and it later turns out that there is a vulnerability in that process, that vulnerability can burn all of your clients.

Yap.. most code is that way these days :thumbsup It's just a matter of the end user being brave & knowledge enough to go in there and change some filenames and stuff around to make their install of the canned script a little more 'unique'

Hybrid,

I wont post quotes on a public forum for the courtesy of our clients and future clients however, if you woul dlike to contact our lead developer and give him your specs i am sure we could come up with an affordable custom solution for you in a short time.

[email protected]

We also charge on a 'per job' basis therefore your costs will be considerably lower than a per hour pricing structure.

We have already worked with ARS on the resources payment for post program which you can see a demo of online at http://www.arsresources.com/forum/

Regards,

Lee
