How much traffic to be profitable?
 

Newbie here, so forgive me.

I am a traditional non-adult webmaster, but I recently gained a strip club client. This is a professionally-designed site with professional photography of the dancers that seems to draw traffic. We did the site for a break from regular boring work...

Q: Do they get enough traffic to make affiliate revenue programs like http://triplexcash.com/ or http://www.xfusioncash.com/ worthwhile?
I may put banners on the strip club site in exchange for doing monthly updates for free (is this wise?)

I was wondering what kind of $$$ I might expect (no guarantees of course, but I am curious). If profitable, I may go after more strip clubs and put ads on them to make extra bucks.

I'd rather not say yet since I haven't brought this up to the client. He might want a cut of the action -- if there is any action to be had with this traffic.

Any ideas on anticipated conversion rates of strip club web site traffic?

Depends where the traffic is coming from, TGP vs. SE etc. and country wise too..

Are 1 in 100 conversions actually happening? I have seen those numbers, but they seem high.

Then of course, which program would convert well on a strip club site?
Amateur - milfhunter or suchstuff?

The site has very low daily uniques compaired to porn sites/galleries. Some of which can get 100,000+ visitors and not make much of anything. Porn traffic is a joke, but if you promote the right thing to the right number of people it can be worthwhile.... or so I hear :BangBang:

If you're highest percentage of visitors are from Virginia, check this site out. Virginia Amateur, va2k on GFY runs it.

I get about 100 000 to 150 000 uniques dayli some weeks and less other weeks and sales are about the same...depends what you sell...I hear AVS is the way too go but I never really pushed yiet.

I make a very decent 6 figure income on around 12k - 18k uniques a day. You dont need alot of traffic, you just need some quality traffic. And tgp traffic aint it.

What kind of site do you run? Paysite?

PhotoShopGuy: I don't want you to give away your secret, but how do you create (and promote) a site that gets 12-18K uniques a day?
And how do you make 6 figs with the site? By putting banners on that pay per signup? Or by impression?

I'm not doubting you, but I wonder what kind of site gets those high daily impressions.

Take my strip club site for example: it gets the hits mentioned above and I really didn't do anything but wing some keywords at it and add it to google.

I also didn't use any tools or anything to promote it... (it has been added to stripclublist.com and a couple others, where I do get some visitors from).

I wonder if some effort at putting it higher in the search engines would be beneficial to get more traffic?

I also wonder if I should do more strip club sites (featuring our high quality professional photography of the girls)??

Or am I way out of whack here?
Should I be looking at making other sites (other than strip clubs)?

I think the strong point of our current angle is the fact that the photos on the site are pro quality.

depends on how you market them and how new your stuff is.

If i told you, I'd be giving the secret away. I can tell you, not to focus on just one source for your traffic. If you already have some SE traffic, make sure its targeted to what you are promoting and that is pretty much the best traffic you can get. Regardless of your traffic source, dont promise them apples then show them oranges, cause it wont work very well.

Hunter - you might look around for webrings that are aimed at strippers and escorts.

Look for some of the escort sites that list girls from all over - they often have a page for strip clubs - some will charge you for displaying your link and others won't.

A sponsor that might convert well for you on a stripper club site is the one run by Escort Biz - if you do a search for him here on the board you're bound to come up with a message from him and you will find his site listed in his sig.

you need quality traffic..
with targeted traffic you can make 1 in 10 conversions

its all about filtering your traffic to the right source for the right surfer

maybe i missed something... but you're getting about 14k uniques a day almost strictly from search engine traffic?

Looks more to me like he is getting 2,472real people a month...........575 came back.(ip numbers make this always wrong) Those are small numbers. Do that every day and you have a good start. You can make money with it though. I would use those visits to generate more.
