TGP Startup Advice
 

Ok, so I'm starting up a TGP. Yes I know I shouldn't but I didn't want to be the last webmaster on the planet without one. Now I'll be something like third from last :thumbsup

What's the best way to get a good steady flow of gallery submissions started to a new TGP? I think I remember from previous posters that hooking up with the autosubmitters like russiansubmitter.com etc... may not be a good idea.

Start up a MGP, it is easier to get traffic to and will make you more money. Plus it is the future of things to come.

Oh shit I can hear the MGP guys just sharpening their knives for me now.

there really isn't much different between MPGs and TGPsnowadays.....they all post movies

I started a MGP a week ago and it is already at 45k. So in comparison to building up a TGP site I would say it is much easier.

That's ok. I'll take asuna's suggestion to post my URL and if any of you want to ad me to your submit lists that would be great. I'll be buying traffic for a few months to get things moving.

Why not just use all sponsor hosted galleries? It will save you Alot of time and trouble....Plus you make all the coin...:winkwink:

Try to build up your traffic on hosted/self-made galleries until you've got a steady flow of traffic, then submits will follow :)

AP|TGP is a script you should checkout. Its a thumbnail preview based script but allows for text submissions also. It has detailed webmaster stats, overall tgp stats, ad managment addon, and allows webmasters to make thumbs right on the submit page faster than any other tgp script. anyway, its worth checking out.
