Choppers: Is it just me?
 

There's like 6 choppers spread out hovering the sky above me. WTF? Aren't they taking this a little too far? And I live in a 80k pupil city.

ive noticed a ton of more air activity here as well.

i live relatively near an airport though but have noticed what seems to be 'louder' and 'heavier' sounding planes, i can 'feel' them more as they pass over my area more than usual... not sure though, i dont bother to run outside and look.

I'm talking about the "air patrols on attack fears."

I noticed this months ago. Cessnas buzzing around at all hours. Yay. I hope they are actually doing something and its not just a psychological detterant for the would-be terrorists.

Same here. I live just a couple miles from an airport. Can hear some unusually heavy jets overhead lately.

I have skylights in the kitchen ceiling, and looked up one day to see a HUGE (what looked to be a cargo-type military jet) passing overhead at a very low altitude. Scared the fuck outta me, cause it was so low, it looked like it was on it's way to crashing into the house down the block. But, apparently it made it to the airport.

I'm in NorCal and yesterday at around 7 am there was a loud chopper hovering about.

Very Surreal.

In Fort Worth I lived about 2 miles from Carswell, but I was directly under their flight path.:Oh crap

Now in Vegas I live about 1/8 of a mile from Nellis and even though I'm not directly under their flight path it's loud as fucking hell on more than a few occassions each day.:helpme

nobody cares about where i live. the only person that was ever interested in this city was hitler. thank god he never made it here.
