IBILL Check Bounced.....

Anyone else have that problem? Any ideas what I should say when I call them?

LadyMischief 03-25-2003 12:05 PM

Yeah, our check from them bounced too.. We haven't bothered calling about it yet, we were waiting for some of the hubbub to settle.

directfiesta 03-25-2003 12:11 PM

I don't have that problem, they haven't pay me since dec. 15th ( Only old rebills - a bit more than 1K).

But I heard that thgose checks to Canadians are drawn on a UK bank, and not cashable here.

I tried to get them to pay to my US account ( TD Waterhouse,NY), but I am waiting for a reply to my emails ... of January 12th...lol

And I fucking paid that 750.00!

I'd suggest "Hello, I wonder if you can help me. Your check seems to have bounced. ".

Zoe 03-25-2003 12:23 PM

The company I work for is based in Canada and it is a Master Account. Does that make a difference?

Zoe 03-25-2003 12:26 PM

haha ha.....funny. Besides the obvious like "Is your company out of business and we won't get paid?"

Or any other work arounds that other "Bounceees" have used to get paid......

Check out my thread, "IBill Cheques Bouncing?"

http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...hreadid=103931

There's some problem with the Canadian Master Account cheques written by

"Internet Billing Company (Europe), Limited",

they don't clear the Canadian/European banking system properly.
My bank is taking 5-6 weeks to clear them with a $57us service charge.

You should talk to your bank to see how they will handle this transaction and then you should talk to IBill and switch your payments to wire transfer.

Lane 03-25-2003 12:34 PM

ibill go bye bye

picindex 03-25-2003 12:37 PM

It seems the bad checks are only happening for ibill EU or Canda?

Zoe 03-25-2003 12:59 PM

IBILL said the problem was that the check did not say US Funds on it....... The banks are still assholes for bouncing it. Banks don't care about anything or anyone anymore. They could have called and we could have told them it was US Funds or something. But no....they just bounce it.....

Anyway....IBILL is going to wire us right away. Howard Goldberg at IBILL was very nice and helpfull. Credit where credit is deserved.

I am just an affiliate, not a paysite owner, but on one of the sites I promote that uses Ibill, I just had 4 refunds today. Maybe that's just a regular occurence, but it was kind of a kick in the nuts for me. And it was strange how they all occurred at once, given the low amount of sales I send.

Kohun 03-25-2003 02:36 PM

Ibill have had always problems.

Say what now?
I have been with them for years, and they have not always had problems.
