best registrar

Who would you all pick to transfer/register your domain with between Dotster and Godaddy? I like them both, I think godaddy is a little 'slow' but other then that its good.

Jakke PNG 03-25-2003 05:28 AM

godaddy irritates the shit out of me.
WTF - am I suposed to spend 20 min on
registering a single domain????

KRL 03-25-2003 12:56 PM

DirectNIC has the best interface, speed and the pricing is good if you buy in bulk.

For single registrations GoDaddy is less expensive, but takes a lot longer to do a registration on.

Bottom line, like anything you get what you pay for.

Master_Yoba 03-25-2003 12:56 PM

I'm transferring all my domains from netsol to directnic these days

Seb From Holland 03-25-2003 01:00 PM

I wouldn't recommend RegisterFly.com. I tried to register two different domain names (second one a month after the first). Both failed, but despite that, I got billed. Tried talking to their support crew thru chat, but it's wasn't satisfying and they weren't helpful at all.

I use PowerPipe.com for all my .com/.net/.org's and they rock.

Seb.

Try http://www.web123s.com

$8.45 a domain, with FREE DNS, EMAIL FORWARDING, FREE up to 100 email address, etc.....

I use them and their service is great.

Jeffery 03-25-2003 01:14 PM

Godaddy if you must choose between those two.

But I won't go anywhere but DirectNic.

sextoyking 03-25-2003 01:15 PM

Jeff,

you are correct. Directnic is a real great company, good prices, and a super online interface..

PornHero 03-25-2003 02:23 PM

I recommend Directnic too - great interface and I love the email notifications I get when my domain names are about to expire :) Check out Directnic.com

justsexxx 03-25-2003 02:30 PM

I use www.dd24.net myself. A great company. Great support, and also the webinterface is easy. ALso a registerlock, so it can't be transfered. They call you first be4 changes are made on the domains you locked.

Further they renew domains automatically every year, unless you say don't:)
