Al-Jazeera site blocked for USA? Brits too?

Link to aljazeeras new english site is on drudgereport...
But I think it is blocked in the US. People in the UK blocked as well?

I was curious and used a proxy to test it out -- came right up :( All of my friends online seem to be blocked as well (from different Isps).. can ANYONE in the US hit the site?

It is not blocked. It is overloaded. I can access it at times and at other times I cannot.

So they are throttling certain subnets somewhere or something? Because when I used a proxy from a couple different countries, it popped right up (a little slow)...
