You seem to not understand the difference between discrimination and protest.

What he is doing is saying, "I don't like this law, therefore I am not going to come to your state and spend my money."

If he were behaving in the same manner as he state he would do something like announce a show, let everyone line up to get tickets, then he would personally go through the line and select those who he didn't like for whatever reason and refuse to sell them tickets while going ahead and selling them to everyone else.

Actually, it's the literal definition of discrimination.

If we are going on literal definitions, here is the definition of protest:

A statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something

Springsteen objects to this law therefor he is taking action against it by choosing not to bring his business and spend his money where this law is in effect.

Meanwhile the definition of discrimination is: The unjust or prejudicial treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, age, or sex.

If Springsteen showed up to do the show, walked out on stage and asked those in the crowd to raise their hands if they agreed with this law then proceeded to throw out everyone who raised their hands, he would be discriminating against them by refusing them access to his show because of their beliefs.

So, Springsteen's protest was discriminatory .....

Strange to see crying from people it makes zero difference to.

but he did discriminate against them by refusing access to his show. he just did it by throwing the baby out with the bathwater. no one gets in. bruce is the boss, he's made his point better in song writing. i can see the inconsistency in liberal views and actions, i think this is a good example of it. it's not a slur on bruce or his music to be realistic about that.

There is no show therefore he can't deny access to it. If he were to play the show and not allow some people into the show, that would be discrimination.

the group he discriminated against was the State citizens he canceled the show in. he canceled the show for that State only, he continued his tour. it's inconsistent. on a higher level, it doesn't even gibe with his politics, in particular his anti-war stance. if he were consistent with his actions of cancelling show in places where he disagree with something, he wouldn't even be doing live shows in the USA at all.

Clearly this is going nowhere and I'm not going to change your mind so like Springsteen, I will opt to bow out.
