Not that i praise the iraqis but damn!
Those moves are probably their best yet. Think about it:

- The american army is less likely to open up for surrenders
- The americans are more likely to make mistakes, be edgier when iraqis surrender and mistakes are bound to happen

This said, think of the effect it might have in the iraqi army:

- The iraqis will be more reticent to surrender feraing getting shot anyway
- The iraqi's only other option is to fight
