That's the way war works. The last time it was an international force, NOT just the USA. Those people were killed during war. They did not surrender so they were killed. They invaded another country, they were not innocent people. Simple as that.

They were <b>ordered</b> to invade another country, the only other option being a bullet in the head from one of their commanders.
