Selling Domain Names and Adsense?

Would you consider this an adsense site? http://solarpanels.energy/
I see allot of websites like this that are doing adsense but also has
a link to buy the domain name.

Is there a particular name for these kinda sites?

Can sites like this get ranked in google?

Are they profitable?

Please enlighten me.:banana

It's called a parked page. And no, it's only if you're not using a domain yet or about to sell it, might as well put something on there and make a few cents..

Simply a parked page from DomainNameSales.com

Is there a particular name for these kinda sites?= Parked Page

Can sites like this get ranked in google?= May bounce to the top occasionally but unlikely as no unique content so they only work well if the domain name has existing traffic, if no existing traffic then usually better to send straight to a sales page as ads without traffic doesn't work too well.

Are they profitable?= If the domain has traffic yes if not then not so much. Parking income has dropped significantly since 2003 when I started with it. Now I do my own sales pages which focus more on the sales angle than parking income as I've sold quite a few domains anywhere from 1-100k+ majority of them in the 1-10k range since 2003. :2 cents:

Do you have any experience with Pro audio sites? I have multiple primary Pro audio keyword domains. In another universe I would like to get them developed, in the meantime, the sales page route sounds interesting.

What happened in 2003 that sunk parked domain income? Google policy change?
