Which one do you like better and why? Im looking to pick one of them up and want to make the right choice

My brother has PS2. I just won a XBOX about a month ago , so I've played both. I like my XBOX better just because of the better graphics and the 8GB harddrive. Plus PS2 has like a 300mhz processor where a XBOX has a 700mhz processor.( its somewhere along them numbers )

I'd go with XBOX. They may not have as many games as PS2 but they come out with news ones all the time and the games I have are fucking badass :thumbsup Rallysport Challenge has the best graphics I have ever seen anywhere. Including a PC. Also you can find tons of XBOX games for around $20 used and new at video game stores. Used games are just as good as new ones I think. Also I think the controller is way better. The way it vibrates is awesome, and it just feels better than PS2. If you get a XBOX I would get the new Mortal Kombat game for SURE! I just got it off of Ebay last week and it's fucking unreal. It's fun as hell and just a amazing game.

get an xbox, then get the xbox live starter kit, only reason to get ps2 is gta:vice city... and its not even online

If you are an avid gamer, get both! They are both pretty cheap...I have ps2 and love it, there are awesome games that you can only get on PS2 like Ace Combat 4, final fantasy,ridge racer, and a bunch of others like gran turismo, mark of kri, grand theft auto and more. All of my friends have the XBOX and it is ok, I just don't like the controller shape (too big) and the system is huge compared to ps2. If you are into games, the ps2 definitely has more variety

Get both of them, ps2 got some great titles, but X-Box also have nice exclusive games.

get an xBox and then get a mod-chip for it... after modding your xBoxen, you can drop up to a 160gb drive into it, and copy games to the HD (along w/ FTP'ing games into it from your computer!)... imagine the look on the blockbuster drone's face when you return the 8 games you only rented an hour earlier w/ a big smile on your face..!
