I once tried one of those local dating/singles phone things. Paid about $140 for something like 300 minutes, and put a voice ad in. Within about a week I had over 100 messages, which of course I had to sift through to weed out the big sweaty overweight moms, and I wasn't interested in the married ones either. But I actually met with about roughly 30 of those remaining, and had some good dates with roughly 10 of those. It's a numbers game, just like anything else.

Did I get laid? Well, yes, yes I did. I was 30 and single, and hell yeah I had fun.
