This is cured Iberian Ham Pata Negra means black feet which refers to the nail on the porkīs leg. Pata Negra is the best type of Iberian Ham and itīs delicious. I haven't had corn beef hash in literally YEARS. My father used to make all the classics including good old SOS. Nothing like white gravy over chipped beef on top of toast for breakfast. Its amazing we weren't all obese. In fact we would have SOS for breakfast OR dinner sometimes, depending on the mood. And if we didn't have chipped beef it was good old ground round cooked up in there. The closest I get to that shit nowadays is the occasional Jimmy Dean "Hot and Sweet" link sausages. Man those are good. So tasty and spicy. |
