Any concerns about patents?
 

I'm thinking about starting a mainstream site. Where people can take photos with their webcam, then upload to the main site for likes, comments and so on.

Like:
Pixect - Take photos online with webcam effects
Cameroid - Use your webcam to take photos online!

It's going to be niche specific. Not just a "service" for fun.

Are there any concerns about infringement on patents? By accessing their webcam and and letting them take photos???

I know I need to have terms of conditions and such things. Air tight. But are there any patents inloved in this service??

Hehe. No problem. As it's niche specific. I think there is room for a few sites like that.

But any patents or so invloved in this? Yeah. I know I probably don't know what patents are. But I would hate getting sued. And then having to fight some patent trolls with $100 million lawsuit over me.
