Caledonian Crow
Amazing..
Yet another feature of human cognition that supposedly marks us from the rest of nature has turned up in the Caledonian Crow. The bird can upgrade previous designs to make specialized devices. The ability to improve technology by making step-by-step improvements to their tools. Various tools for performing specific tasks. They're learning and copying from each other. http://www.admin.ox.ac.uk/po/crow.jpg Negotiations are underway with Lockheed and Martin for future government contracts. |
Yes, I think that's about a 6 months-year old. Those crows were consistently able to make tools by bending bobby pins and stuff. I think it's awesome :thumbsup
