Is This Going Anywhere? - North Korea Again...

North Korea submarine 'missing' as US-South Korea drills continue - BBC News

Quote:

A North Korean submarine is missing and presumed sunk, according to reports in the US media.

The vessel was operating off the North Korean coast for several days when it disappeared, a paper with close links to the US military says.

The accident comes at a time of heightened tension in the region as South Korea and the US continue their largest-ever military exercise.

North Korea has issued another threat of war over the drill.

It said it was prepared to launch a pre-emptive strike in response to any sign that an invasion was being prepared.
It's a strange story - Not sure what to make of it...

You can bet money that our military knows exactly where it went down. Our Navy is very good at tracking subs, they had years of practice following Russian subs.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if we didn't take it out considering the threats NK just made about nuking everyone.

Then again, the dumbass probably sunk it themselves as supposedly they were trying g to fire missiles that could launch with out the sub surfacing.

Sum dum won likely left the missile compartment hatch open.

The submarines they have are very old, Russian and Chinese. At one point North Korea had a contract to build submarines themselves, but the designs were were twenty or thirty years old and this was some time ago. I would imagine these submarines would be somewhat easy to track, even more so in an area like Korea where tensions are already high.

All he has to do is open up his borders and let his people be free, seems like a pretty simple idea.

I'm sure someone in the White House has phoned Kim and told him that any time he attacks the US or S Korea, he signs his death warrant.

Kim talks big to his own people, the rest know he'as useless.

Now where did I hear that before? LOL

With Russia and China that have had enough of them, all the US needs is a firework to cross the boarder to flatten them.
