What would you bring to this event?
 

Ok... here's the deal. Some buddies of mine own a chain of adult video stores and they advertise on cable tv and radio. The radio station is hosting a live concert of the band LIVE this Friday.

Because they advertise on the radio station that's hosting it, they were given a booth at the concert to sell their stuff. The venue is a college and it's 21 and over. He asked me if I wanted to join in and promote. Of course, I said yes.

He will be selling his porn movies (which I don't think is going to sell well at a concert... even college), but I have 5 girls coming with me to promote the hell out of my website. I'm making flyers up to give to all the passerby's and am also going to be selling polaroid photos with whatever girls they want for $5 or something.

My question to you, how would you take advantage of 7,000 - 10,000 (estimated count they're expecting) college kids? From what we're told, full nudity is ok because this is part of a "Spring Fling" held every year at the college. Also, two of Philly's larger strip clubs have booths as well.

Sell memberships with usernames and passwords on the back of business cards.. Have the girls hand them out and sell the site for you.

Live is doing a show sponsored by adult stores? That doesn't make much sense.

Live is not doing a show that's "sponsored" by adult stores. A big Philly radio station, WMMR is hosting the event and it's also part of a yearly event called Spring Fling at Temple University.

Because my friends advertise on WMMR, they were given a booth to sell their stuff... it's just a way the radio station entices their sponsors to keep advertising with them. I'm sure there's going to be many other businesses there, not involved in porn or adult.

You gotta hand out freebies, Tshirts, mouse pads, frisbees or whatever else you have with your website branded all over it. You're targeting college kids who probably don't have a lotta cash on em and if they did it was spent on weed and booze for the concert. Believe me you give em free Tshirts they'll be all over it

Flyers get chucked on the ground and hardly even read especially if you want the to take it home and read it.

Also on the polaroids aren't a bad idea just make sure you stamp the bottom of each one with your url!
