I think Aljazeera is being blocked. Could only get to it after I used a foreign proxy.

rooster 03-23-2003 02:38 PM

Fade, your the kind of piece of shit that slows up traffic while passing an accident hoping to catch a glimpse of a dead body.

Oh of course...they all died of headshot wounds.

One dead center between the eyes, the next in the right temple.

link doesn't work for me...

in any case, the pics will prolly be on ogrish by monday

Rochard 03-23-2003 03:22 PM

I clicked through and was able to get it. I'm stunned that any newspaper or offical news company would display such a picture. It's shameful.

I hope we won't see any US news broadcasts displaying such photos. It's poor taste.

Yah, let's show dead Iraquis instead... that's fine

Sly_RJ 03-23-2003 03:26 PM

Working fine in San Diego.

I've never seen the pictures of executed men before. This is a first.

My thoughts are with their friends and families today. Executions are not a part of war, but a sad reality. I don't usually pray, but today I will.

Killed In Action. Bull shit.

They are in violation of the Geneva Conventions showing and executing prisoners of war. This is another crime commited by the Iraqi regime.
This is NOT a reality of war, they are breaking the rules that every country including Iraq agreed to. :321GFY

Easton 03-23-2003 03:51 PM

ok just saw the pics... how sad :ak47:

It happened in WW2, it happened in Korea, it happened in Vietnam, it happened in Somalia, it happened it Desert Storm and it is happening now. Rules or no rules..we cannot expect brutal and evil regimes to follow guidelines in a time of war.

Rules of war sounds like an oxymoron..

And in Vietnam:

Quote:

The company of soldiers that carried out the massacre was no different from any other army unit in the region struggling in the aftermath of Tet. As James S. Olson and Randy Roberts put it in My Lai: A Brief History with Documents (1998), ?It was a time of anxiety and second guessing?anxiety for the American soldiers in the field and second guessing for journalists and many Americans at home? (page 15). Charlie Company, First Battalion, Twentieth Infantry, became increasingly frustrated and angry. They could not see their enemy?the Vietcong?s guerrilla forces?but they did see villagers. The distinctions blurred: anyone could be the enemy. An early morning raid on the villages of Son My on March 16, 1968, was planned to rout a Vietcong stronghold. But the company found no Vietcong, only villagers. There was no sign of the enemy, only old men, women, and children. The company opened fire on them and organized mass executions. In all, between four hundred and five hundred Vietnamese were killed.

They are breaking the rules and will be punished, to this day individuals that commited this war crime are being convicted from every war except WW2. Becuase WW2 was before Geneva conventions when it took place in 1949.

What the fuck is an oxymoron?

That is ridiculous..do you think they give a flying fuck about being punished? As far as they are concerned..they're going to be killed.

ox·y·mo·ron ( P ) n. pl. ox·y·mo·ra (-môr, -mr) or ox·y·mo·rons
A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a deafening silence and a mournful optimist.
