What to do about fake surrenders and soldiers "disguised" as civilian???
 

Seems they are waving the white flag then opening fire... ??? What happened to the liberation?

I love people that want to create rules for war. If they want to kill me, I will do EVERYTHING to kill them first. No rules.

Well.. I do believe in rules of war. Otherwise ppl would bomb hospitals, civilian targets, etc...
When I was in the army they did teach us some nasty tricks to go 'around' the law though (as a precaution on what others COULD do..)

Can you tell us or would you have to kill us afterwards...?

Seriously tho -- when does the white flag become meaningless? You can't trust these IRAQI people! You will never know what these civilians will do when you turn your back!!! This war will never end... you can't liberate them! Don't you think these IRAQI people will only get MORE pissed off as the attack continues???

if someone decides to bomb hospitals and civilian targets, i'm sure other countries will jump on them...

by the way, bombing hospitals would be just a waste of money.. in a war they even chose not to try to kill people, but just injure them.. so the enemy spends a lot of efforts and resources for saving and healing those people, instead of just burying them..

Well.. for example.
white flag comes meaningless like so:

A group of soldiers wave the white flag.
They surrender. That group now has no right to shoot, or be shot. correct? yes.

But, there can be 20 snipers around the group not directly connected to the surrendering group, hence they are not surrendering.Snipers can kill the people that did not kill the guys waving the white flag. Understand? I think I'm a bit unclear on what I mean, but that kinda slaughter is within the rules of war.. fun? no.

There are precedents where the rules of war don't really apply. For instance the Nazi invasion of Russia..that was harldy a struggle that adhered to the Geneva convention. Any struggle against an invading aggressor will probably involve the use of partisans and non uniformed combatants.

The USA is involved in an illegal invasion of another sovereign state. They are terror bombing (shock and awe) their cities, they are bombing hospitals and other civilian facilites. Just wait, it won't be long until they cut off the power and water to Baghdad.
Every young Arab in the world will be walking to Iraq to take a pot shot at the Americans.

I actually think it is mean, but smart .. all is fair in love and war, right?


I cannot believe people actually complaining about others not following rules in these wars, can it get any worse anyway?

I feel sorry for everybody who dies in this war, including the Iraqi people.

The military are sure they will find weapons of mass destruction, so they say. I am sure we can find those in the US as well. What a bunch of BS.

They dont bomb hospitals and civilian targets because that would be a stupid waste of bombs! If bombing an hospital would save you from death or loosing the war, you would do it! That's what the white flag did for them, and I would do it too if it ocurred to me. In a life or death situation there are no rules!
