When Trump was a businessman flirting with politics, he was an asset. Now that he is about killing the families of terrorists and wants to water board people.... Not so much.

It was bizarre to see Romney put himself out there for the desperate anti-Trump conservatives. Does anyone really care what he says? Romney is already on record for saying the complete opposite. What could he possibly gain from this (a VP slot from Cruz or Rubio)? I could see Romney doing this if he were running for President, but as a "spokesperson" he came across as sad and desperate.

If this were the only instance of trump being a lapdog for the political elite it would be forgivable. But we all know that isn't the case.
