My cat has a really bad habit of sleeping on top of my monitor while I'm, um, doing other things.

Is this bad for my cat/monitor?

No, but doesn't your cat get hot? Monitors are like heaters, they give off lots of heat.

It 'may' be harmful to your monitors.... You see those holes on the top of the monitor? They circulate air so it doesn't overheat.

Yeah, that's what I was worried about. Time to get out the rifle.

nothing wrong with that at all...

it's perfectly natural. unless it's incredibly hot cats will almost invariably choose the warmest spot in the room.
