Accepting donations on a free transgender dating site
 

Hello,

I'm releasing a new version of dating site I run in a week. Mobile friendly, well optimized UI and code, took me hundreds of hours.

My site is still free, but I would like to be able to accept donations on my website. I was thinking about Paypal, but I know it doesn't go well with people posting explicit photos of themselves.

Can you recommend a service?

Set up a second site, like maybe about Transgender resources. Keep that site clean, no explicit images or anything that would get you knocked out of paypal or other mainstream processors.

Accept donations on the resources site. Link to the resources site from your dating site and ask your users to donate to the resources site.

Thanks for the advice, but I don't want to screw with Paypal. I know some got their accounts frozen/removed for shadowing an adult website.

thats going to be a hard one Betty. Most of the companies that you are thinking will shit can the account for nothing or what we might consider nothing.

Might just want to have people send you checks in the mail :)

Look for gateways that can work with bitcash or webmoney or solutions like these.

Can anyone just pay into Paxum without opening an account?..

How about you do a T Shirt or something similar at a site like Cafe Press - You set a fairly high price - I think you can do that - And then you can say - Support us by buying our stuff...

You also get some free promo with the logo on your T - I say 'like' Cafe Press because I am am sure there are better services around - In fact I am sure I have seen one that specializes in more alternative stuff, they will be more flexible.....

I was thinking about these lines, when I realized donations might not be easy to setup. All the hustle with gateway, charge-backs, etc.

I will go with the gift shop idea if I don't find any reliable solution that doesn't require signup to pay (Webmoney, Neteller, Paxum, etc.) Nothing against those services it's just they won't do for easy donations.
