It's mainly because things that involve drinking keep comming up. Plus my gf Is Korean.

I never drank much before this. Never had a problem. But I think I'm just mindlessly going with the flow. I'll do the 24 hour thing. See if I haven't built some kind of addiction.

Having more than enough money to spend doesn't really help the situation (not complaining). I have a fridge dedicated to beer only, Which normally up until 30 or so days ago has been relatively untouched. Now it's in need of a restock.

Remember, on the 24 hour thing it shouldn't be difficult - If you didn't drink but have torn all your hair out that doesn't count as a pass...

By textbook definition, you are an alcoholic. But I don't agree with a lot of textbooks. I think you're having a good time and enjoying life. No need to defend it unless it becomes a problem. If you wake up and can't move until you have a beer, or get physically ill if you aren't drinking, then yeah, find some help. If not, enjoy life. I drank heavily almost every day from 18 to 30, then just quit with no problem. People in my life during that phase swore I was a raging alcoholic. Fuck everyone else, it's what matters to you.

P.S. I bet your Korean girlfriend is super hot. I'm half Korean and Korean women are fucking gorgeous! And they cook, clean, and spoil their men. :thumbsup

P.P.S. Did you know over 80% of Koreans (Asians, too) are allergic to alcohol? I bet your girlfriend turns beet red when she drinks. Most Asians do. It's because we're allergic to it, but still enjoy the hell out of it!

I say no, you are not an alcoholic.
But if 5 beers makes you drunk, then maybe yes because you have to get drunk at a minimum.

Alcoholics need to get drunk.
They can't have a beer at lunch and then wait until 10pm to have the next beer.
That one beer only makes them need another one.
