Well thanks but I only need half of that. The weather is great so there is a small chance I will go with them. I need to get out of the house but I will probably change my mind right before it comes time. I am still in my thirties but my leg has been hurting like a bitch. That nerve going down it has bothered me for two weeks. It hurt once 8 years ago and just came back after 8 years to drive me nuts. Doctor wants to stick a needle in my spine so fuck that.

With what I went thru with paypal in the past no way will I give them the chance to suck my account dry lol paypal sucks when it comes to stuff like that. Hell this paypal account is not even mine anyway. Probably the last family member I know that has one.
My golfing buddies have all been there done that. They are all old dudes. I play in money games and take all their money. It is my 2nd job as they say lol. Bunch of older retired guys and some whipper snapper who takes all their money. I don't mind.

I have 1500 in paypal now but it is an eCheck that has not cleared so that is not doing much good either.

May I suggest that you take $570 of the thousands that you could take pictures of, go up to the Walmart and buy a prepaid card.

That would be pretty much the same thing as having it on a paypal card, wouldn't it?

I am not siding with anyone. I am trying to help you solve your issue without having to resort to borrowing from folks you hardly know.

I do not have any idea how having the money on the card instead of in cash stops them from spending it stupidly. Unless you don't plan to give them the card and instead are buying the tickets and stuff online in which case you would probably need a card.

So, I am wondering why a paypal card would be different from a prepaid card that you can buy local.

I am also wondering how you would give them money to spend at the park without giving them money in some form.

you know you can get a prepaid visa card from walmart and you can use that to load money onto your paypal if you have so much money laying around. I know this because I did this when I was between banks recently.

it's simple.. Just buy a prepaid visa that can be used online. I'm not sure if the gift cards work but I used this for a awhile Walmart MoneyCard ? Prepaid Debit, Prepaid Visa, Prepaid MasterCard from Walmart . I cost $3 and if you keep using it then it's $3 per month. Then you just log into your paypal and under "add a card" or somewhere around there you add that visa prepaid card to your paypal.

It's simple and the walmart card even allows direct deposit if you want to keep using the card or you can cancel it for free anytime. The card doesn't allow over drafting so if you load X amount and try to spend more than that via pay pal or via the card itself it just won't work unless you add more money to it.

Whatever.

You could buy one prepaid card and hand it to whoever you were going to hand the 1 paypal card to, you don't need to buy a bunch of them.

Ya I don't understand why he has to have money for his PayPal card either but BTW if you try my way to load money with a Walmart visa card you will want your brother to buy the card since the PayPal is in his name.. the billing info and name needs to match the PayPal to use to load into paypal..
