I regularly have scammers reach out on skype pretending to be a hot girl willing to talk with me.

Always fun when I ask them if they are called Abdul and are sitting on the floor in a hut in Bangladesh, but today there's a new one

3 times in a row, "girls" with slightly African sounding name reaches out on skype and
asks for 50$ for food.

So I have a chat, than ask how the weather is in Nigeria, then block and report.

Oh the joys of the interwebs :-)

I am using skype for less than a year but no spammers found me so far [knock-knock].. I thought it was an ICQ thing..

Once i sent 20$ and i was hit by hundreds that month

I'm starting to believe they scrape skype names and then resell it.

I think by now mine has been classified "timewaster" :winkwink:

It's funny, they are usually bots.
