Better Call Saul - Season 2 - What do you think?
 

I like the first episode pretty well. I thought Saul was gonna go straight into being evil this season. But it looks like that may be a while.

I thought Saul pulling a con and then going back to the same place the next day seemed kind of far out.

There is potential for it to be good. I really like Mike's character. I think his death in Breaking Bad was rushed and done poorly.

Going back to the same place makes sense. Once a con finds a mark they hit it over and over. The show is good. A slower burn than breaking bad likely because they were promised more time. When you know you have 3 or 4 seasons to work with you can put more time into character development and layering the plot.

Liking it very much so far... and loving the Cinnabon flash forwards. How long until Cinnabon Saul returns to his scamming ways? He already started reclaiming his identity by scraping his initials on that wall...

I like it. Odenkirk was born to play Saul. Looking forward to Monday. :)

Yea. I really like that too. It helps the audience relate to his character.

I stopped watching about halfway through the first season. Bored of it.

Stopped watching it mid way through the first season. It is just too damn slow, painfully slow for me.

Try a re-boot. It picked up. Generously.

This show is very disappointing, as I noted last year. The character arcs are good but the story is a never ending mishmash of entirely uninteresting and seemingly insignificant events, It doesn't go anyplace, no story arc at all..

Watch "Black Sails" on Starz now theres a well done TV show...VERY well done.

A spin off show featuring Meth Damon would have been better.

i agree with comments that the show is too slow. i feel like vince gilligan has fallen in love with a certain style of story telling that is rich in music & visuals & dialogue, & sort of wallows in that. sauls rant about life when he was pulling bingo numbers was like 7 minutes long, absurd. its got great moments but people like me with ADD it just makes me nuts. i fast forward through half of it to find the criminal parts, the good stuff. the rest is fluff. this show has a lot more fluff than BB.

This show isn't for people with ADD.

vince should just stick to the drug stuff & stop wasting time with slippin jimmy scamming tequila. tuco's partner looks like the most interesting character in the series & we see almost none of him.

They should make a spin off of breaking bad not sure what they would do maybe start making meth for el chapo or something

People keep complaining BCS is slow.
Breaking Bad was slow. Season 1 was slow as fuck.
But it paid off. This will, too.

A show about Todd and his white supremacist family.
Make a crossover with Sons of Anarchy for good measure.

I really like this show. The pace seems perfect to me, because for me, the whole point of watching it is that I want to know the backstory of the characters. I so hope they include Gus!
