U.S. Soldier Detained in Kuwait Attack

Troops in a tent at the 101st Airborne Division camp in Kuwait were attacked early Sunday with grenades, and 13 soldiers were wounded, six seriously, military officials said. An American soldier was detained as a suspect, the Army said.

The American soldier detained is assigned to the 101st Airborne, said Max Blumenfeld, a spokesman for the U.S. Army V Corps.

BTW in all written reports from the News Agencies, none mention he's muslim - not that it makes a difference - if he's capable to try to blow up the men he had supper with a few hours before - the men that pledge to protect you & your country - I think he's just fucked in the head. Point finale!

What they've said is that he has an "Arabic sounding last name".

Also the people he aimed his grenades at he would of never had any real contact with previously. They were higher-ups.

Wonder if this was some religious thing, or if he just snapped? From what I've read he was acting kooky for days prior to the incident. He'd caught enough peoples attention with his behavior that they weren't going to send him into combat.

I'm sure there will be an investigation into why a guy considered too unstable to proceed further in the campaign was put in charge of the grenade supply.
