What do you think about raising the tweet character limit?

The whole reason twitter got popular is because 140 characters is about the same depth as the soul of the average tweeter....can you imagine how adding 10,000 characters to that will in any way improve things?

It will just turn Twitter into another messaging program and that will be the kiss of death. Hello Instagram.
