Haven't seen it yet but really looking forward to doing so. I wanted to take my better half to see it for Valentines day but she got mad at the suggestion. Sigh. Next week for sure.

Should of tried saying "I'm taking you to see the new Ryan Reynolds movie..."

I had the exact opposite situation. I jokingly asked the girlfriend what she wanted to do for Valentine's day. She responded, "Let's get Pho for dinner then go see Deadpool."
I really enjoyed it, very funny movie even the end credits are funny... , how many marvel movies have the been now 12+? still cant believe people leave before..the taxi scenes are hilarious
It's super entertaining.
I'm a huge fan of profanity laced snarkiness and deadpool delivers that in fucking spads too.

As sensitive as you are about the use of the word "fuck", even at goFUCKyourself, you should prolly pass on this movie, it will upset you.
No, it's been out since Thursday night. Aside from that, being completely sold out is rare. We have a lot of theaters.
First weekend sellouts (or not) are about marketing campaign. People do not know if it is good or not during the first weekend, they base their ticket purchases on what they hope it to be based on how good they were convinced by the promotion.
It was excellent. It was really funny with tons of really crude jokes, tons of graphic violence, and even some delicious nudity (tits, ass, & shaved vag!). Oh and did you know this is a MARVEL movie? and that Marvel is owned by DISNEY? Congrats Disney for growing a pair!
The movie is a sick ton of fun. It's low budget ($60M which is low for a super hero movie these days) and they make fun of the fact. They poke fun at least 100 times at other movies including other Marvel movies, DC and even Star Wars. It was directed by "Somma Douche!", and it has the trademark post-credit scene too which the entire audience stayed to see.
If you're curious, Deadpool is a part of the X-MEN Universe and not the MCU. However there are hints that Deadpool will join MCU in future instalments.
Everyone laughed, cheered, laughed some more. Great entertainment. Worth seeing and thankfully, did not get a 3D downgrade.
Deadpool was excellent. They found the right balance where someone not familiar with the comics could enjoy every minute of it, while still packing in enough subtlety and quiet one-liners to satisfy the die-hard character/comic fans.
For Ryan Reynolds fans, if you enjoy dark comedies you should give "The Voices" a shot. I found it pretty entertaining.

The most annoying thing about the film is that - like most of the time - all the best and funniest moments have already been spoiled in trailers. The actions scenes are cool but that's all - nothing really memorable. Don't get all the hype about it - just another comic movie. I'd better watch 'Watchmen' again.

So you were whining about fury road all along and had never seen it just to be a ********** about it
Ahahahahahahahaahahahahaha
2 different genres of movies BTW, a movie buff would know that.
LOL! I saw it already you little crybaby. But you knew that too, and tried to lie about it anyway, yet again. You are GFY's biggest liar. I'm sorry that the fact I pointed out that the movie you loved so much because it was "real" because it had "minimal" vfx (that caused you yet another epic public and embarrassing meltdown), isn't loved by all mankind, but thats no reason for you to lie and lie and lie again.

right. you went and paid a second time to see a movie you tried to rake me over the coals for liking it.
Dynamo: Mad Max was so stupid. Their vehicles should have been electric not gas. They live in the sun-drenched desert, and in the future for fuck sakes. Had their cars been electric, they wouldn't have had to fight for gas. It would have been so much cooler if their cars would have been Tesla's and Volts and Faradays. Their electricity could have come from solar panels and wind turbines. Plus all that noise would be replaced with whisper-whirrs, and none of those people would have been hurt in those awful gasoline-fueled explosions. They could have called it Nice-Max instead. See why the movie is so dumb?
