There's more than one type of "black hole". When most people think of black holes, they think of the enormous gravity and light sucking mass at the center of a galaxy, or bad movies called Event Horizon. That's just one type of black hole. If you haven't watched it, check out Particle Fever, a documentary on the research CERN is doing with the LHC. It's spectacular, and yes, I would live next to a black hole.

You sound knowledgeable to dark matter and black holes. I understand with physics & technology, the energy can be extracted or absorbed. But, I do not understand how they are planning on moving a black hole into the orbit of the earth or after collecting the energy, how's it possible to transport it back to earth?

What makes you think Hawking is talking about moving a black hole? P.s. there is no article in your link, only a blurb.

I'm not from the same generation as him, vaccines change over time, different ones get pushed, then there's also travel vaccines to take into account. It only takes one bad reaction and that's it.

Once again people with no understanding of basic physics (not hawkings he gets it) solve the worlds problems with magic.....
