analog vs digital monitor

I have some old ass monitors. They both use a DVI input and are about 7 years old? They are two 23 inch flat screens. I'm not a gamer, should I upgrade or just keep them till they die?

May as well just use them. I have some the same age and they still work great. Planning to upgrade to the new super wide format ones to replace dual monitors someday though.

Are you still waiting for your vhs player to die before you upgrade? I head those things run forever... :2 cents:

Ain't broke don't fix it. These are some nice monitors. Boobies still look good on them!

Get rid of it. I was sitting on about 10 x 19" Viewsonic monitors, square not wide screen. They were large and heavy and bulky and just collecting dust. I sold one but couldn't sell the rest, so I donated them to a charity in exchange for the tax credit. I recently picked up a 27" Asus monitor that has a smaller footprint, is super-light, and out-performers the older monitors and I'm happy with it. Sometimes its just time to move on.

Depends how much money you have.
After 4k or 5k, there's no going back.

good new monitors are so cheap these days. i see no reason to hold on to the past. it frees up a lot of desk space when you get rid of them.

Some of those old monitors can fetch a good price as theyre good for gamers - I discovered after throwing away mine.
