Not really much compared with other venues, but they guy got way, way more money from the publicity that came after the video, South Korea has bee trying for years to break in the USA market with different groups, songs, etc... and this guy did it, he was in all major shows on TV, thousands of articles, interviews, sold out concerts and now is probably the biggest Korean star of all times.

He really cashed out on that video.

I seem to remember it was this clip that caused Youtube to have to rethink their use of a signed 32 bit integer (maximum number 2,147,483,648) to count views. If you add 1 to that number, it overflows and goes negative.
