I play around a lot with integrating Maya and Cinema 4D models into video footage. I love messing around with weapons (mainly real life gun shots, not the laser weapons). It's really fun masking out people and creating new backgrounds, too. I've added my kids into a bunch of movie clips so it looked like they were in the movie. My kids love it, and I enjoy doing it. I have a whole green screen studio set up at my house.

I made a video of a handgun going off in my hand like it was an accident - it was actually just a pellet gun. It looked real as can be, and freaked out a bunch of people when I shared it on FB. That started a HUGE gun control debate on my FB page. I had to confess and told them I composed it in After Effects, then showed them the unedited footage. I thought they were going to call Child Welfare on my ass so I had to cover my ass fast! :1orglaugh

I don't do it professionally, it's just something I enjoy messing around with. It's amazing how realistic you can make things appear. :thumbsup
