I think the scurge of childhood obesity is terrible. It is depriving present and future generations of children of the opportunity to participate in the time honored tradition of "Making fun of the fat kid" due to the fact that now all kids are obese. This travesty must end. It must end now.

Fat people are fat because they don't care what they eat and eat when they are not hungry.
When people eat shit like Nutella with trans-fats, no salad can help them. Or if someone drink 2L of coke a day, he had almost all recommended daily calories just in that. I'm not in best shape in the world, I don't have much time or will (often came home exhausted) to excercise (yeah I'm bit lazy too). But when I feel like getting fat, all I have to do is cut all soft drinks with sugar, chocolates, lower amont of bread & butter. I don't cut fats, I just cut sugar. Eating fat food isn't a problem as you will feel saturated for a while while eating food with tons of sugar will make you hungry soon and you will eat more & more. And unused sugars turns into fats anyway, so fat food is better. |
Fat people should be bullied until they loose the weight for their own good.
They are lazy and often dirty people who spread filth. On the other hand they are often funny to laugh at. Especially when trying to bend over to tie their shoes. |
Gosh, we've been brainwashing, er, advertising fast fatty food for decades, reducing opportunities for children to play outside, organizing leisure time around sedentary inactivities...who could have seen this coming...

I am glad that someone is writing about eating healthy, since my goal is to finally start doing it properly, and lose some weight, so I was searching the internet and ran into Joe Cross and his juicing diet. He also produced a movie called Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. Good stuff. There's part 2 as well.
I'll start soon, probably in January, and let you know. Basically, I need to 'drink' fruits and veggies. No coffee, no alco, and no food. Maybe just walnut, peanuts, almond... Oh yea, I need to do it for ten days straight. It's gonna be fun, right? The war against bad food starts soon. :1orglaugh |

It's up to the individual to look at what's in the food. We can't rely on Governments to do the right thing and regulate the food we eat.
They're reluctant to tax unhealthy foods to pay for the hospital bills that are here and growing. |
They should remove obesity from insurance coverage.
