Any word on that damned next book? Anyone?

The book is coming soon. I read that he apologized to the fans for the delay.

I saw a blurb on the news the other night that he said "possibly by the end of the 6th season on HBO the book will go into editing"

What this tells me is he no longer gives a fuck. The books/show have started to stray more and more from each other. I'm guessing he is gonna take the script the writers wrote for season 6 and have it changed slightly so it can be his next book in the series.

What a depressing way to start the new year off. :(

I hope this is not a trainwreck/clusterfuck in progress. He's making a fortune from the books, and another fortune from the series, which when it started gave him a good number of years to get the last books completed. Yet in the meantime I keep seeing his name on OTHER books, other works, colaborating with other writers, appearances at awards shows, etc... etc....et-fucking-cetera.

Fans will be calling for his arrest soon if he doesn't find a way to get his head out of his ass.

The last time we saw Brandon Stark, the actor was a couple years younger. He's going to look so much older it's going to be ridiculous

Why ridiculous. The story is also going to be "older", so it would be ridiculous if he did not age.

Anyone who is a GoT fan should also check out Black Sails. Very similar look, feel and quality but minus the fantasy bits and set in the real world 1700's. It's basically Game of Thrones of the high seas.

I watched 3 1/2 episodes from season 1 and can't force myself to watch another minute.
