I heard that the Canadian version sucks. Perhaps use a VPN and a US account.

It's much better than it used to be. I used to use a VPN to watch the American version but I stopped about 8 months ago as the content is just about identical now.

What is the alternative? Use that.

Bell & Rogers Cable launched Crave TV. It's ok, but Netflix is much better.

Can you get shows like the walking dead in a reasonable amount of time after they air yet? Or do they still take months to show up? Wanting to get rid if my satellite bill but the only thing holding me back is a few shows on AMC and HBO that I like to watch live as they air.

Not sure if they are on netflix or not, but they are available Live and on demand. The Bell On-Demand service is actually excellent. I now watch anything just about any time I want. The only shows I watch Live are Agents of Shield, etc.

You must watch a ton of Netflix or have a very limited range of interests.

Limited range of interest I think. Lately I've been binge-watching old sci-fi on Youtube.

Perhaps. I want Sci-fi that makes me think and horror that makes me cringe.
