I've seen all the "current" movies, and their Sci-fi selection sucks. It's just like what it was to go to your big name video store was. All current stuff, nothing edgy, nothing interesting, etc. Bored bored bored.

I heard that the Canadian version sucks. Perhaps use a VPN and a US account.

That why it is perfect for "Netfix and chill".

I mean, it sucks when you want to hook up but the movie is good and you actually want to pay attention. Netflix is great for background noise to drown out the animal mating sounds.

If it's just a few shows maybe cheaper to just buy them legit and get all the streaming services

You must watch a ton of Netflix or have a very limited range of interests.

I was pretty hardcore Netflix user as was on a cable plan that doesn't exist anymore like 40-50 channels and 3 Mbps internet speed :1orglaugh as not a huge TV guy. Upgraded my double play to the X1 shit with the HBO included, Streampix movies and the On Demand section has all the HBO movies ready to go so ya don't have to watch them when they actually come on so haven't watched anything on Netflix in probably 2 months. Internet speed is now supposed to be 75 Mbps but usually runs 90-100 little improvement from 3 :1orglaugh. Just pay the Netflix bill cause family members use it.

I like Netflix's original programming, and that's the ONLY reason I have it. I never cruise Netflix looking for something to watch, because most of it sucks. And there hasn't been one time when I knew what I wanted to watch, and went to Netflix and it was actually available. Never.

I have been binge watching Californication for the past three or four days.

There is so much content on Netflix I could never get bored.

It's much better than it used to be. I used to use a VPN to watch the American version but I stopped about 8 months ago as the content is just about identical now.


Bell & Rogers Cable launched Crave TV. It's ok, but Netflix is much better.


Not sure if they are on netflix or not, but they are available Live and on demand. The Bell On-Demand service is actually excellent. I now watch anything just about any time I want. The only shows I watch Live are Agents of Shield, etc.


Limited range of interest I think. Lately I've been binge-watching old sci-fi on Youtube.

Perhaps. I want Sci-fi that makes me think and horror that makes me cringe.

So if netflix is boring and alternatives are even worse, wouldn't the conclusion be - do not watch anything at all? I mean why take boring over doing something else that is not boring?

I usually spend about 20 mins just scrolling through everything then losing interest and either putting the PS4 on or going to sleep lol...

Change the country setting and explore! If all else fails go to youtube! Ultimate fail videos will consume your time!
