Miss Colombia Offered $1M to Appear in Porn Movie
 

After Miss Colombia (real name Ariadna Gutiérrez) had her crown abruptly taken away from her during the Miss Universe pageant on Sunday â?? then given to Miss Phillippines â?? she probably hoped she could put the highly publicized debacle behind her.

Vivid Entertainment, a well-known pornography production company, saw an opportunity and pitched an idea to Gutiérrez in a letter, according to TMZ. The founder and co-CEO of Vivid, Steven Hirsch, wrote the letter himself, offering Gutiérrez US$1 million to appear in a sex tape. TMZ secured a copy of the proposal. In it, Hirsch writes:

He then referred to other female stars who â??enhancedâ?� their careers with sex tapes, among them Kim Kardashian and Pamela Anderson. Hirsch even says that he would let Gutiérrez choose her partners and â??the type of sexâ?� sheâ??d want to make. Thereâ??s also an option for her to appear in more than one movie if she so desires.

An unspoken thing about beauty pageants is that...its not at all about who wins. The crown is a joke to those women! Its about beautiful, unmarried ("Miss") women from meager backgrounds being given an opportunity to dress up for, parade themselves for, and meet wealthy men.

There's a reason Donald Trump owned Miss Universe/Miss USA when it has nothing to do with real estate. Potential business partners had a vested interest in getting on his good side, and to be invited to these events. Very, very clever of him.

The actual winners of the pageants are the ones who get to "marry up" with wealthy men. Or in the very least, become impregnated by one. Many aren't particular, either way. Pretty much all of them will be winners, one way or the other.

And I think its a good thing. I say if a woman was born with the means (rare beauty) to open up doors of opportunity for herself that she otherwise wouldn't have had, by all means take it! Its what makes the world go around. :2 cents:

This is a cheap publicity stunt that Vivid has worked to death. It's no longer effective and kind of stupid now. Hell, any one of us could offer the same deal and be sure it would not be taken. Maybe they should up it to 10 million. If they have the balls.

Harvey Levin is buddies with Steven Hirsh, so whenever Vivid does it Harvey dutifully reports it on TMZ as "news" eventually even Harvey will prolly stop playing along.
