I read this & felt some warmth towards the world we live. We have all pulled together, what do you think to this article...
Congratulations, ISIS: you've united the entire world against you - Daily News Bin :thumbsup |
I was just having a conversation this morning about how they're never going to succeed. Civilized society is a like a Rhino, and ISIS (plus other terrorist groups) is a mosquito buzzing around it. They'll get a small hit in once in a while, but life will go on as usual and the world won't give in to fear.
It's going to pathetic how badly the floor is going to get mopped up with them. |

Maybe the reason no one wants to chat here, maybe worrying of less sales if ISIS are destroyed :2 cents: |

It's like Germany invaded the Soviet Union once again, if you historically know where I'm going with that...

They actually have free healthcare for the people that they don't cut the heads off and run their cities like any other cvilized place. It's not like some African village under the local dictator who lets his solders rape and pillage. They actually have rules, police and collect taxes. The people can even bring complaints against the ISIS fighters to their local elders.. Obviously this is only for the people try accept as true Muslims but still it's very strange. On one hand they are brutal murders then on the other hand they will pay to send their populace to Turkey for medical treatment if their own people can't handle it. |

Crackdown on "dumping oil", or crude which dramatically lowers the price of oil in global markets - it certainly is an odd coincidence that the price of Brent and WTI began its tumble last fall, just when the Islamic State made its dramatic appearance on the world scene.
While the US, and Russia, and now France, are all very theatrically bombing something in the Syrian desert (nobody really knows what), the funding of ISIS continues unabated as someone keeps buying ISIS oil. |

In fact these fuckers had actually taken over electric plants and were forcing Assad to buy electric from them at one point. Why after all this time is the infastrucre still there tha allows them the ability to make millions of dollars a day? |

Results in massive profits for the enterprising middleman who are engaging in openly criminal transactions. If you cut off the oil trade, they lose the ability to battle the regime. |

he has been an abject failure as Commander in Chief of the USA military. |

Obama as commander in chief did not start 2 new war in Syria and Iran. therefore, as commander in chief for the US, it is ideal. I think so. another thing is a transnational business, transnational banks - they want global leadership to increase the scale of globalization and there profits. for them, Obama wimp who cares about the national interests only to the US. but who Obama for Americans question for me) |

If it would be true that oil is their only revenue stream, things would be a lot easier. However a german news article is estimating that it accounts only for like 28% of their revenue.
Das Finanzsystem des Terror-Kalifen: Der IS lässt sich nicht einfach aushungern - n-tv.de They make huge money on plundered stuff and what they consider contraband in the areas they control. Like someone gets caught selling booze, they take all from him and make it money. They even have a tax system in place, accounting for around 24% of their revenue. Sure, these revenues will drop, once they sucked every penny out of the areas they control and there is nothing left to plunder, but it might take a while. |
yep, that's what i call the Watchmen Effect. Great article.

The region is split tribally and regionally. All vying for power and wanting to convert the other to their way. Assad was murdering Sunnis, were the Sunnis trying to over throw him. Or was he murdering them just because they followed Islam a different way? Look at why the Mayflower sailed to the New World, and the 30 years war for our example of the same thing. You'll find Europe was split over how to worship, tribal wars and Nation Wars right up until very recently. If given ISIS rule over the whole of the ME or people like Assad, who would you choose. There's no third choice until these tribes stop killing each other or is transforms into one colour. https://deepresource.files.wordpress...sition-map.jpg To give you some idea, this is Syria. http://cdn2.vox-cdn.com/assets/42322...March_2014.png Imagine baptist, presbyterians, protestants, etc. Killing each other over who has the right to rule. Add the different groups or Irish, Italian, German, British, descendents to the mix. |
Sounds like a plot to a movie
1 create enemy in lands rich with shit we need 2 ... 3 profit cha fucking CHING |

I seriously doubt the people under their rule live in some kind of utopia. It's most likely just the opposite. They're a bunch of monkeys and they're not going to make it, because they'll make the same blunder as every other asshole who wants to rule the world --- they'll reach for too much too fast, which they're already doing. The US and every other civilized nation will be there to smack the living shit out of them at every turn. Until they get an air force they won't be able to do shit to us except set off a bomb here and there. And even if they do somehow manage to reach that stage, how do you think a dogfight will go between ISIS vs US, Turkish, Russian, UK, French pilots? |
