Welcome Firefox 42 with tracking protection
The new private browsing mode goes further than just not saving your browsing history (read: porn sites) ? the added tracking protection means Firefox also blocks website elements (ads, analytics trackers, and social share buttons) that could track you while you?re surfing the web, and it works on all four platforms. The feature is almost like a built-in ad blocker, though it?s really closer to browser add-ons like Ghostery and Privacy Badger because ads that don?t track you are allowed through.

What they failt to tell you, is how they do tracking protection, is by having the browser crash every 5 minutes, so there are no complete sessions to track.
But there is one thing I like about firefox, its the "reader view" mode |
Doesnt privacy mode do all of this already?

Blocking ads, would help in the fight against Tubes. Only help, not defeat.

After updating to Firefox 42, have seen that some sites ads are not showed anymore by default settings, like xHamster, Tubewolf, sex.com so it is protecting somehow.
