I am a week booze free!..

I am having a few this afternoon - The plan from now is 3 continuous days a week with no alcohol - Lets see if I can save this crapped out liver of mine - lol.....

Try drinking tea instead. I personally enjoy a glass of scotch while playing playstation or watching a movie, but I'm perfectly content with tea as well. Water or juice doesn't do it for me at those times, I like something that I drink slowly - either because it's hot as fuck or contains 40%+ alcohol.

Sounds like an awesome idea. I used to drink like a fish when I was young. When I got hepatitis from bad clams I got so sick I was scared to shit my liver would never be the same, that and my last tequila hangover was more than enough for me.

A beer, wine or bloody marry every now and then and I am a happy camper.

I have 2 friends who I am begging to stop drinking - 1 admits blackouts are common. Wish they could see the light.

I quit drinking about six years ago. I was a binge drinker, mostly at conventions or monthly parties at my house. I quit after Phoenix Forum when one of us got really drunk and became violent (no names mentioned). Frankly, I don't miss it.

I drink once a week few glasses

I prefer to have no alcohol

Tabitha. That was just awful. She is a fighter and made a helluva recovery. She will never be 100%, but damn. She is amazing.

After a long day of grinding it isnt easy to just drink water

I have drunk pretty much every day since I was like 18 (I'm 40+ now).
I was drinking a bottle of wine a night for the last few years. I have tried to give up before but never really got anywhere (10 days is about the best I could do).

Anyway, for my new years resolution I said I would stop and put any money saved towards crypto.
So far it's going well.
I had one small beer which was left over from new year around the 10th which I drunk and I shared a bottle of wine around the 15th. We didn't even finish it and ended up throwing the remainder away a few days later.

Since then I haven't had anything although I have been feeling pretty shitty..

I quit drinking a few years ago now and have no interest in going back what so ever. I did some REALLY stupid shit under the influence of alcohol. I'd much rather kick back and enjoy some cannabis. :winkwink:

Been a few months since he posted. Hoping he is well, too, but think he probably is taking a break. Plus, he has glaucoma that could be giving him issues. Sincerely hate to see anyone of us going through a rough patch.

Dunno... He didn't even show up in his "Super Gay Birthday" thread I made him on the 2nd Of January... I hope he is OK...

The email I have for him is using an expired domain and the phone number that I had for him, has been lost in the depths of time... :(
