Thanks for posting it, no one here has their tv on

One was taken down several hours ago. An air raid already cleaned up the site. Supposedly nobody was killed, that's hard to believe though. How hard/easy is it to live a crash?

god... why don't you listen to the report??? they said it hapenned over 12 hours ago. it was "hard landing" not crash. it had nothing to do with iraqi fire. they had hard landing, then moved to a new choper, then an f-16 leveled the diserted choper

some of us are at work and live feeds from CNN\MSNBC are too slow so I do appreciate people posting this.

It is being reported not as a crash but as a hard landing due to mechanical malfunction, in other words a controlled crash, and yes people survive hard landings.

"A helicopter carrying U.S. special forces crashed inside southern Iraq hours before the missile strikes Wednesday night, a senior defense official said. There were no casualties and the troops on board were all taken out safely, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity. The official said the military was taking steps to destroy the helicopter rather than let it fall into Iraqi hands."
